SOURCE: Carson Wentz Expected To Be Cleared For Contact On Friday

Philadelphia Eagles franchise quarterback, Carson Wentz, tore his ACL on December 10 against the LA Rams. With an expected recovery time of 9-10 months, Wentz’s potential return date was slated for the middle of the season.

However, that return date, is now expected to be next week.

According to a source familiar with the situation, Eagles Carson Wentz is expected to be cleared for contact on Friday.

The source stated that Wentz has a medical physical Friday morning. During this physical, the Eagles and Wentz both believe he will be cleared for full contact.

Carson Wentz’s status for the Eagles week-2 matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers is still OUT.

An announcement for Wentz’s clearance is expected to come on Monday. With his expected clearance, Carson will resume full practice on Tuesday and is expected to start the Eagles week-3 matchup against the Colts.
