Report : The Philadelphia Eagles Are Bringing Back Jordan Matthews

According to a report by Jason Myrtetus of 97.5 the Fanatic, the Eagles are signing Jordan Matthews pending his physical.

Matthews was reportedly seen exiting Philadelphia International Airport last night. It was confirmed by multiple reports that Jordan Matthews was indeed at the Nova Care Complex today meeting with the Eagles.

After he left the Eagles team facilities, according to Myrtetus’s report, Matthews went to a local doctors office where a physical and MRI were performed.

Once the results are clear, Jordan Matthews and the Eagles are expected to sign a contract and reunite the former Eagle with his former team and former quarterback and good friend, Carson Wentz.

Coach Doug Pederson said the Eagles were looking for a veteran wide-receiver. Well, why not get one who already knows the playbook, offense, and the quarterback who returns this weekend.

Great signing by the Eagles if Matthews passes his physical.

It is unknown if Matthews will be able to play this weekend vs the Colts. But, if he gets at least one practice by the weekend, Matthews should start opposite of Nelson Agholor in Wentz’s first game back.
