The Philadelphia Eagles Just Played a Football Game
Well, the first game of the Eagles preseason has just wrapped up and all things considered, it was a pretty lackluster performance. Albeit, that means absolutely nothing. The only thing that really matters, is this:
Starting defense is done for the night. I'm good if I don't see 'em until Sept. 6.
Steelers had two yards on two possessions.

And also this:
Eagles breaking out Dreams and Nightmares for a preseason game warmup and players are still going nuts.

If you came here for a breakdown of Nate Sudfeld’s 10/14, 2TD, 2INT performance, you have come to the wrong place. I am here to rant about how much I am glad that football is back. I haven’t had that same angst for football season now that we have won the ultimate prize but once our guys were out on that field, even if it was those shitty all-white uniforms, all the emotions came flowing back. There’s just something about that Dave Spadaro sideline propaganda that really gets the juices flowing.

Alright let’s sum the rest of this game up in one long, informal and grammatically incorrect paragraph. Dallas Goedert is who we thought he was. I still can’t believe we jumped Dallas (the team) to snag this kid. I also can’t believe that we have a punter who can boom it 81 yards, that was a nuclear missile. I am officially ready invest my preseason play money into real estate in Josh Adams island. He has the build of a sturdy back with a bit of burst to him. Love it. The penalty for “illegal use of the helmet” is already maddening and ridiculous. Imagine using your fucking helmet in football. This team is absolutely loaded. I think it took Mike Mayock breaking down every position we were “deep” at and then realizing he broke down pretty much every position, but I now see this team is stud city.
See you all September 6th.
