Temple May Not Have Their Own Stadium, But They Just Got Some New Uniforms That Are Fresh As Hell

I’ve just recently gotten back on the Phillies bandwagon in a shameful, frontrunning fashion. It was great for about two weeks…and now I’m ready for football. Right now, we are on the cusp of the cusp of season. There isn’t much going on so I’ll cling onto any sliver of football I can. Yesterday, that was Temple unveiling some FIRE uniforms:

God damn, these dudes got everything BUT a stadium on campus. Don’t wanna gentrify the land that Temple already owns! 

Collectively, this is a pretty sweet set of uniform options. I know how hard it is for companies that aren’t Nike to make a uniform combo that looks even remotely cool but kudos to Under Armour on this one.

Personally, I think the all black look is the best one of the bunch. Ask the Eagles, if you show up in all black, you’re an absolute lock to win by three touchdowns. Unless your Rutgers…there is no uniform combo that can help that program.

Even the grey option is a nice new touch and it’s tough for schools that aren’t Ohio State to pull off the grey. That grey uniform is going to look great on a Thursday night, ESPN 2 showing where Mack Brown butchers 85% of the names for both teams.

Even after Matt Rhule sold out, I’m still buying in on Temple’s football program. Their social media savvy and uniform drop only helped solidify their come up.
